On the afternoon of July 14, 2020, Mr. Zhang Yonghua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Dean of the Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University, Professor Weng Xiaobin, Director of the Bankruptcy Law Center, and Professor Shi Yifeng, Deputy Director of the Bankruptcy Law Center, and Mr. Wang Jinhua and Mr. Cheng Jin, Team Leaders of the Project Department of the Continuing Education Center, visited Beijing Dacheng (Hangzhou)  Law Firm . Director He Jianwen, Lawyer Lv Weijie, Lawyer Ling Jun, Lawyer Xia Jingjing, etc. of Dacheng firm attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Director He Jianwen of Dacheng firm extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Secretary Zhang Yonghua and his entourage. In recent years, Dacheng firm has had close contacts with Guanghua law school, especially in the field of bankruptcy law, which is very gratifying. Secretary Zhang Yonghua also expressed his gratitude for the warm reception, and said that the purpose of this trip is to understand the work situation of the graduates of Guanghua law school, adopt the suggestions and listen to the needs of Dacheng forum for the cultivation of legal professionals, and explore further cooperation in the future in talents training, scientific research, continuing education and other fields.

Director He introduced the general situation and development of Dacheng in recent years, and praised that the graduates of Zhejiang University were pragmatic with a solid theoretical foundation. At the same time, he hoped that the two sides could cooperate to enhance the students' practical experience and improve the practical ability of work. Several other lawyers at the meeting also put forward some suggestions for deepening cooperation, including building a corresponding platform to further strengthen the connection between students and practical tutors.

Secretary Zhang Yonghua responded to the suggestions and said that the communication could be enhanced further through the joint construction of party branches, the co-organization of conferences and forums, and cooperation on scientific research topics. Prof. Weng Xiaobin also pointed out that there are problems such as information asymmetry and insufficient mutual understanding between schools and business associations which requires the establishment of a long-term cooperation mechanism. In addition, the two sides also conducted in-depth exchanges on new professional training for lawyers, especially on the Civil Code.


At the end of the forum, Secretary Zhang Yonghua wished Dacheng would step into a higher level in the future, and look forward to more exchanges and cooperation between Dacheng and Guanghua law school.
