Zhejiang University Guanghua Law School is seeking outstanding candidates and accepting applications for multiple faculty positions at different levels in various areas of laws.


Zhejiang University (ZJU) is one of China’s top higher education institutions, as well as one of its oldest; its roots can be traced back to 1897 and the founding of the Qiushi Academy.Guanghua Law School, the first law school to own an independent campus in China, is located in a national relic protection unit, Zhijiang Campus of Zhejiang University.


Guanghua Law School offers approximately 200 curriculums at different levels.  Guanghua Law School has doctoral degree programs and master degree programs of the first level discipline of Law. It also recruits international students for its Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program in Chinese Law and Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) Program in Chinese Law. The subject of Constitutional and Administrative Law at Guanghua Law School has been selected as one of the national key disciplines. Guanghua Law School became one of the earliest education bases for applied and inter-disciplinary legal talents as well as high-qualified legal talents concerning foreign affairs. The Law School has a significant number of outstanding alumni who play leading roles in different fields. Guanghua Law School is one of the main members of the program of Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization, which was selected in national “2011 Plans”. Additionally, Guanghua Law School has a professor committee, who is responsible for the School’s management concerning academic affairs, which is innovative in China.

Qualifications and Requirements:

(1)The applicants shall be under the age of 40.

(2)The applicants should hold a doctoral degree from a world-renowned university.

(3)The applicants should be a top-notch talent among his or her peers and have the potential to become a leader in the field.

(4)The applicants are expected to be leading academics in their respective research areas, having made significant academic impact nationally or internationally. The applicants need to be capable of delivering quality teaching, presiding over research projects, and making major contributions in building up strong research teams in their respective disciplines.

(5)The applicant should work full-time at ZJU.


  • Postdoctoral Researcher

Qualifications and Requirements:

(1)The applicants shall be under the age of 35.

(2)The applicants should hold a doctoral degree in recent years.

(3)The applicants should work full-time at ZJU.
