On March 17th 2020, Prof. Jianghong Zhou, Executive Vice Dean and Mr. Yonghua Zhang, Secretary of Party Committee of Guanghua Law School expressed condolence and missing to students and faculties in Hubei as Law school, instructed the current policy of plague prevention in Zhejiang university, then expressed care to their online working and learning environment. Faculties and students in Hubei all introduced their situation and progress in local plague prevention individually. Senior students also made brief the progress on their graduate dissertation, enrollment, and job application. Vice Dean Jun Zhao and Chunyan Zheng, Dean Assistant Lei Zheng, Member of the party committee Jingsong Lin, Linghao Wang, and counselors all interact with students.
In the spring of 2020, a menacing pandemic hit globally. Faculties of Guanghua Law School initiated online teaching in response to the call of “suspended class, ongoing learning”, helping students to study at home and weaponize themselves with knowledge. Since the outbreak of covid-19, Law School has never stopped caring for the safety and living conditions of students and faculties in Hubei province. Counselors even organize the “cloud home visiting” to students in Hubei individually and give guidance to job applications for senior students in Hubei province.
All the feelings can be expressed as “safety matters most”. The cloud meeting shorts the distance and delivers care. May the pandemic dissipate eventually.
