This December, our law school welcomed Professor Ahl, from Germany. He is currently working as Chair Professor of Chinese Legal Culture and also the director of Institute of East Asian Studies at the Cologne University. Professor Ahl is one of the leading scholars in the research field of Chinese practice on International Law. He once served as guest professor in the Law School of China University of Political Science and Law.
During his visit, Professor delivered several lectures relating to the Chinese Practice of Public Chinese Law. It covered multiple contents to discuss and communicate. Our LLM and SJD students participated actively and they showed highly appreciation with Professor Ahl. Professor Ahl encouraged students to express their opinions bravely and let their voice be heard. They regarded this opportunity as a precious and unforgettable experience, which should make them much more professional in the Chinese Law Studies.
Undoubtedly, this activity ended with happiness and rich gains. Look forwarding to the near future.
