On October 30, delegation of Bond University Law School visited Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University. Ms. Jiaying Hong, Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Ms. Tengfei Meng, Officer of Education Center of Guanghua Law School, warmly welcomed guests: Prof. Kathy Atkins, Vice Dean of Bond University Law School and Ms. Rachel Lu, Director of China Market of International Department of Bond University, who gave a presentation of the Bond University’s LLM and JD program.

This lecture focused on three topics: ways to become a practicing lawyer in Australia, internship opportunities for Australian lawyers and, the LLM/JD cooperation project between Guanghua Law School and Bond University.

First, under the guidance of the slogan "Stand Out From the Crowd", Ms. Rachel Lu first introduced the characteristics of Bond University’s college setting and teaching methods, and described the geographical location of the university and the surrounding environment of the Golden Coast. And all the audience was fascinated by this presentation.

Second, Rachel also introduced Bond University as the top 20 in the Times' ranking of small universities for higher education. Further, in the GILT ranking of Australian Ministry of Education, Bond University has maintained the first place in Australian student satisfaction for 14 consecutive years

Finally, Prof. Kathy exposed detailed information about the application conditions, project characteristics and curriculum of Bond University LLM/JD project. Moreover, Bond University will provide scholarships to outstanding foreign students, such as Excellent Scholarship, English Pathway Student Scholarship, Transformer Scholarship, 30th Anniversary Scholarship and, etc. At the same time, Bond University can provide campus accommodation for students and has a special fitness center with good hardware facilities.

At the end of the seminar, students of Guanghua Law School interacted actively with Prof. Kathy and Ms. Rachel.
