On October 25, 2019, Campus Talk on the Summer Courses Program of Oxford Oriel College and Cambridge Magdalene College was held in Zhijiang Campus of Zhejiang University. Ms. Hong Jiaying, Secretary of Foreign Affairs hosted the talk with the assistance of Ms. Meng Tengfei, Secretary of LLM/SJD Program. They warmly welcomed the distinguished guests participating to this talk, Ms. Cathy Wei, Director of Partnership Managing in WorldStrides | CBL International.

Subsequently to Ms. Hong Jiaying’s brief presentation, of the former experience on holding the project, Ms. Cathy Wei gave detailed introduction of the program.

The talk included three parts, which were the sharing of Ms. Chen who had already participated in the program, video watching and further introduction.

Ms. Chen first shared her experiences in the program. She talked about the teaching style, course setting and outdoor activities in Oriel where she had learned a lot. Later on the students participating to this talk watched videos about Oxford University and Cambridge University to learn more about the program contents. The important part of the talk was the detailed introduction given by Ms. Cathy Wei, including the basic situation of Oxford Oriel College and Cambridge Magdalene College, living conditions, admission standards, as well as assessment requirements and matters needing attention of the program.

Finally, students present raised their questions about the program, and Ms. Cathy Wei patiently responded to them. She looked forward to see all students participating in this program.
