On February 23rd, Zhejiang University Guanghua school held the 2021 annual winter vacation work conference. Guided by the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, the meeting discussed the "14th Five-Year Plan" of the high-quality planning college and the new "Double Tops" construction. Members of the Party-Government meeting and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting.
Zhang Yonghua, Secretary of the party committee, pointed out that 2021 is the first year of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The school should thoroughly study and apply Xi Jinping’s thoughts of the rule of law, carry out in-depth study and education of the "Four History". Except for these, focusing on the "the new beginning", seizing the opportunity, and maintaining a good momentum of development also mattered a lot. The school was supposed to focus more on how to improve the quality of education and teaching, and promote the construction of digital rule of law.
Prof. Hu Ming, Executive Vice Dean of Zhejiang University Guanghua Law School, said that education and teaching is a systematic project, and in-depth investigation is the basis of carrying out reform, and the success of reform will ultimately be tested by results. With regard to the implementation of Xi Jinping’s thoughts of the rule of law, the school should put the study and preaching into action to have an influential effect of formation. On the original better foundation, we should further promote the construction of disciplines with superior characteristics and internationalization.
Participants had an in-depth discussion towards many different issues, which included how to learn and implement Xi Jinping’s rule of law thoughts, and how to promote Xi Jinping’s rule of law thoughts in the classroom, teaching materials, and minds thoughly; how to innovate new ways of reform during the education and teaching year; how to further promote the construction of advanced characteristic disciplines of digital law; how to improve the international level of the school.
